It’s our first anniversary! We are so appreciative of all the love and support you have shown us over the last year. Baking for you has truly made the last year wonderful! Our June Bakery Box celebrates our anniversary, our favorite treats and Pride month!
To say thank you to our community and to give back, a portion of our June sales will go to support two nonprofits: The Bad Bettie Project Emergency Bettie Fund and The Center on Colfax. The Emergency Bettie Fund (https://badbettieproject.com/emergency-bettie-fund/) supports women who are members of the Bad Bettie Project who need short-term financial assistance. The Bad Bettie Project focuses “on helping millennial women (and beyond) succeed, this non-profit serves more than 3,000 cis women, trans women, trans men, non-binary people and those otherwise marginalized across the country.” And the Center on Colfax ( https://lgbtqcolorado.org/) is the largest LGBTQ community center in the Rocky Mountain Region. Their programs and resources support the local LGBTQ community.
The June Bakery Box has some of our favorite traditional European treats and some of our newest creations! Cooper, our Chief Taste Tester voted meringues as his favorite treat we make. So we added a little rainbow Pride to the meringues for this month! Scones were voted in by Brian, our delivery driver and dishwasher. So we added a little summer flair (and homage to our favorite Michigan cherries). Baklava and coconut macaroons are some of my (Samantha’s) favorite treats, that I love to get at any bakery we visit. And two of our newest creations: vanilla wafers and Sweet and Salty Brownies. The Sweet and Salty Brownies are delicious, chewy fudge brownies with crunchy chips and pretzels on top!
June Bakery Boxes will be delivered to your door (or your friend’s door) on Saturday, June 12th. Place your order by Wednesday, June 9th to secure your delicious box of goodies! Each box is $25.
